OntarioWorkforcePriority.ca ("we", "us", "this site") is an independently operated eligibility screening tool. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
What We Collect
When you complete the eligibility quiz, we collect the answers you select (job offer status, occupation category, work experience, language ability, education, and location) and, if you choose to request a follow-up, the email address and/or phone number you provide (neither is mandatory — provide whichever you prefer). If you contact us via WhatsApp, we also see the phone number and message content you send through that platform, subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We don't ask for or store government ID numbers, immigration file numbers, or other sensitive identifiers through the quiz itself.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) and any analytics or advertising tags we run may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
How We Use It
- To calculate and display your preliminary eligibility result
- If you submit your email for a free review, to contact you about your eligibility and, where relevant, to connect you with a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) for a consultation
- To understand which pages and content are useful, so we can improve the site
Where Your Information Goes
When you submit the quiz with your email, that submission is sent directly to our team's inbox via Google's infrastructure (Google Apps Script / Gmail) — we do not sell, rent, or share your quiz answers or email address with unrelated third parties. If you're referred to a licensed RCIC for a free consultation, your information is shared with that consultant solely for the purpose of that consultation.
We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics or Google Ads to understand site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These services may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
Data Retention
We retain quiz submissions and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for our internal records, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact us using the details below.
Not a Government Site
OntarioWorkforcePriority.ca is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Your eligibility result is a preliminary, non-binding estimate only — it is not a decision made by any government authority.
